Fourbysix Design / 3D printing

From idea
to in hand.

A prototype to try. A small part with a purpose. A personal project made tangible. Let’s see whether 3D printing is a fit.

Talk about a print
SMALL DETAILS. REAL POSSIBILITIES.
3D PRINTING / LAYER BY LAYERCONCEPT ILLUSTRATION
01 / What could take shape

Small projects.
Useful possibilities.

Every print starts with the intended use. Share your idea or existing design and we’ll review what’s practical before quoting.

01 / Try an idea

Prototypes
you can hold.

Explore a shape, check a layout or test the feel of a concept before taking it further.

02 / Make it useful

Little things.
Specific purposes.

Organizers, holders, enclosures and other small, non-critical parts. Suitability depends on the design and how you’ll use it.

03 / Make it yours

A personal project.
A different approach.

Have an existing design or something you’d like to explore? Start with the idea, dimensions and quantity.

02 / Start with the details

A few details go a long way.

  3. Preferences and timingAny material, colour or finish preferences, plus when you’d like it.
Open a print inquiry

Opens an editable draft in your email app. Review and send it there. File sharing, material choices, timing and cost are confirmed individually.

03 / Before the first layer

A little detail.
A better fit.

Do I need a finished design file?

You can start with an idea. Tell us whether you have a model, a sketch or just a description. We’ll discuss what is needed to assess the project and whether it’s a fit.

How should I share a file?

Mention the file format and design details in your first email. We’ll confirm a suitable way to share the file. There is no upload or file processing on this website.

What will it cost, and how long will it take?

That depends on the design, dimensions, quantity and finish. Feasibility, material options, price and timing are reviewed before any work is agreed.

What if the part needs to handle heat or load?

Tell us about the environment, fit requirements and any expected stress. Material and design suitability need to be reviewed, particularly for heat, moisture or load-bearing use.
